We’ve been blown away by the support and interest on this, our first week of being “live” to the world.
We’ve had so many interesting conversations already with banks, national financial networks and consortiums of firms. In our first week we’re already well into double-digits of firms signed up and we’re growing at a steady rate on a daily basis. All that needs to be said is thank you to those who’ve given it a whirl so far 🙏. You rock!
With niceties out the way, let’s get to business – product updates.

Feature focus – Branding
Each week we’re going to deep-dive into a little feature within Filehaven that you may or may not be aware of. For our first one, we’re going to focus on the branding functions available within Filehaven. That’s right; you can setup your branding and colours all through Filehaven itself. Winner.
Once you’ve logged in, head over to settings and teams. Click into the team you wish to setup the branding for and the first element you’ll see is the team photo. This should be your logo, so before we continue, make sure you upload your logo into this section.
Once you’ve uploaded your logo, on the menu on the left select “Branding” and you’ll be presented with an option to setup your own branding.
Once enabled, go ahead and set the primary colours for your brand, button colours and even choose the style of typeface too. From here you can also upload any compliance warning text that you would like to display on the client-facing portal.
Hit “Save branding settings” and voila, you now have a fully branded super-secure client portal. Easy, right?
Final thoughts
“44 per cent of UK consumers will stop spending with a business if they are involved in a data breach”

Security and data protection is a growing concern with consumers and should be taken seriously by businesses; especially those who are trusted with managing finances. Any firm, big or small, that sends sensitive information via email is putting their business and their clients at risk. Embracing a secure portal, amongst other steps, is one way of protecting against phishing and scams.
If you’ve not already, why not go take a free 7 day trial of Filehaven to see whether we can help protect you, your business and your clients.
